Squeeze In

Las Vegas's Squeeze In has vegan breakfast items and more. For more vegan food in Las Vegas, visit www.vegansbaby.com/vegansbaby2018

Looking for a vegan-friendly breakfast spot in Las Vegas? Check out Squeeze In.  This breakfast restaurant originated in Truckee, California and has a few locations in Vegas. It’s name comes from the original restaurant’s tiny size — a mere 10 feet by three feet with the capability to seat only 39 guests.

Times have changed.

In 2010, the family-owned restaurant was featured on “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on the Food Network and the rest is history.

Vegan options at Squeeze In are limited, but they exist and if you’re looking for a breakfast experience that is vegan-friendly (and also omnivore-friendly) Squeeze In fits the vegan bill.

Squeeze In offers the vegan McCarroll Burrito, a flour tortilla filled with avocado, zucchini, bell peppers, ‘shrooms and sprouts, plus your choice of protein (tofu) and comes with chips and salsa. Squeeze In also has vegan chillaquiles (swoon) featuring tortilla chips topped with salsa, black beans, black olives, tomatoes, green onion, avocado and sauteed tofu, as well as our favorite, the Vegan Southwestern Spudz — homefried potatoes scrambled with tofu, broccoli, onions, spinach, mushrooms, black beans and tomatoes.

For lunch, order up the Griller Sandwich which is a vegan patty topped with avocado, lettuce, pickled, tomatoes and grilled red onions on sourdough bread.

There are also other options on the menu that can be tweaked to be vegan like their taco salad and oatmeal.
